Detailed Training
on Rope Access

Rope Access is a craft.
We teach it like one.

Ropecraft was founded on a simple belief: people learn to work safely at height when they're taught patiently, precisely and personally. That's why every course is shaped by hand around the technician in front of us.

From tying your first knot to your level three evaluation, you train and build the muscle memory that keeps you — and your team — safe on every job.

Everything at Ropecraft Academy — Our state-of-the-art facility, equipment, and expert led SPRAT certification courses — is designed from the ground up to set our candidates up for success.

Equipment

We are proud to be an authorized dealer with Petzl, a global leader in industrial rope access product innovation, and we showcase their line of professional equipment in our training center.  The technical gear we provide for our courses is state of the art and carefully selected for simplicity of use, functionality and safety, giving our candidates the best tools to successfully pass SPRAT certification.

Training

Ropecraft training employs the time tested teaching philosophy of introducing new skills and information to our candidates through three distinct learning pathways: verbal, visual and tactile. Each required skill is clearly explained and demonstrated by the trainer, then all Level 1 candidates have the opportunity to practice each required skill a minimum of three times. This teaching strategy, combined with easy to use course materials is the best recipe to successfully pass SPRAT certification.

Trainers

The Ropecraft team of trainers are dedicated to our candidates' success and safety. Our trainers only train to their own certification level, they remain with the class all week and offer English and Spanish instruction.  Although there are many industry job specific skills and information that rope access technicians will ultimately need to learn, our trainers focus on teaching what is necessary to successfully pass SPRAT certification.

WHY ROPE ACCESS

Rope access is the modern, industry-leading method for accessing and working in difficult or elevated positions safely and efficiently — from skyscraper façades to bridges, dams, towers or industrial facilities.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Across a four-day program you'll master two-rope systems, ascending and descending, mid-rope transfers, deviations and re-anchors, aid climbing, and the rescue techniques that make rope access one of the safest ways to work at height. Your skills are then tested by an independent SPRAT evaluator to ensure your training meets the strictest standards.

WHO IS IT FOR

Whether you're an aspiring rope access technician looking to break into vertical trades or a working professional adding a high-value skill, our tailored approach meets you exactly where you are and takes you where you want to go.
